So I’m standing in KCI looking for a quick rag to read. I was bumping out to California to see my big brother, Purple Baldy Yeti, for a little R&R before strapping down for the college football season. After quick scan of weak rag material, I spied the good ole Athlon College Football preview and snatched it right up. Apparently it’s regionally directed so they had Big 12 slapped on the cover as well. I tossed down a beer with my lil bro, Purple Bumpy Yeti, and stepped on the flight. Hey it’s BCS Championship time and I’m staying in for the festivities. The teams are taking the field and I’m staring at a coin toss coming up. It’s been a better regular season so I’m hoping the Big Game can make up for an otherwise lackluster bowl season. I’m still surprised KU won the way they did. Ending the Year on a High Note and Some PBR
So I’m sitting here on the couch contemplating getting ready for the New Year’s Eve rounds I’m making when I realized, “Hey I haven’t posted to the KCCGD in awhile!” Believe it or not, I actually did watch college football in the last month and yes I did go to some bars. I fell off the wagon with holidays and what not and I’m getting a head start on my resolution: posting more to the blog! Was it the pizza or being away that made me sleepy?
I was still kinda dazed pulling into the City Market Saturday heading toward another KCCGD barspot. The night before was a wedding rehearsal that the Yeti was fully in (it’s okay, it wasn’t my wedding). We had a big ole meal from Bucca De Peppo and it was just lounging in my stomach.
