The non conference schedule is over and the Big 12 is limping out.   Oklahoma losing another close on to Miami capped off a 34-14 non conference schedule with one more game remaining.   The Arkansas rout of Texas A&M Saturday especially stung because it was from a SEC team.  So it looks as though that the Big 12 won’t end up being the 2nd strongest conference.  That can hurt Texas if they notch a loss and there’s no undefeated team in the conference.  Heaven forbid USC or even Ohio State sneaks into the national title game again.   One thing is for sure, the SEC is living up to the hype this year.  Now it’s time to figure out if we lived up to our Pick It hype:

The points were small this week as most schools took a break before conference play.  There were some great matchups this week, however, but we’re not seeing as high scores as we did last week.  Daniel Thomas is the man! (or Chuck) blew out the competition this week as he’s surging strong from blanking a big zero a couple of weeks ago.  Krizzou brings up the rear as somehow the picks are not going her way.  Only one person notched the UTEP upset and that was Polly want a Tinkle.

So how did this week’s even shore up the overall standings?  Welp Daniel Thomas is the man!  is coming up quick behind the Purple Yeti for the real cellar of the league.  He’s out picked the Yeti twice now in the last two weeks.  Though we think someone else will slip up here in the next couple of weeks to even things out.  KSU finally makes a bowl again is holding on to the strong lead and showed up nicely this week.  Who will knock him out of the top spot?  Tune in next week.
