It’s been awhile but I’m finally back again. College football saw it’s first playoff last year and, although the Big 12 wasn’t represented, we were entertained. That’s all we can ask. I hear virtually no one ask on the interwebs where I’ve been, so I’ll answer that shortly. But first, here’s my dart board predictions for 2015. Continue reading Dart Board Predictions For 2015: Scarcity Brings Quality Shots
After a turkey induced coma, I’m back! It’s the last big week of the season. Yup, it’s championship weekend! Except for the Big 12. They have a kinda, sorta, championship weekend. I’ll be personally overseeing this as well to make sure it’s kinda, sorta, awesome. But until I make that trip to Waco, I’m going to run down how I think things will shake out. Continue reading Pick It And Stick It: Championing The Pick
Welp even though I missed last Saturday due to some sweet Austin City Limits Music Festival action, I was able to see some of the destruction. Man oh man, last week is what makes college football so special. Upsets a plenty. So college football needs some relief and we have it coming up this weekend. Yeah I’m a weekend two for ACL but I’ll be hoping to catch a bit of sweet football while it’s going on.
Oy Vey! This weekend of college football will be like buttah! And that’s enough Saturday Night Live reminiscing, because I’m just tired of that show anyway. We still have college football, but no football feedings again. I’ll be doing my darndest to watch but there may be gaps. Guptah!
It’s not as goofy as you think. But there are some teams this week looking to bounce back after some tough losses in there last game and they gotta stay focused. You can’t look away from the wood whilst you chop it, you have keep on it and keep chopping. So this week’s Pick It And Stick It will sharpen that axe for Week 4. Let’s do this. Continue reading Pick It And Stick It: Gotta Chop That Wood
What a weekend it was. A loooong weekend. Yup my team played on a Thursday night so it’s a long distance feeding. But that didn’t mean I didn’t pay attention to the games and fun on Saturday. So sit right back, crack open a coffee drink and let’s go on a long trip of food and college football.

Hey guess what? I’m back! No Purple Yeti Roar, no previews (yet), and not much fanfare. Let’s be real here, I’m distracted by the the Kansas City Royals actually being in a pennant race. But also I’m tired of the vlogging business. Plus the picks and the feedings felt a bit tired. But I’m back regardless with some tasty predictions. Continue reading Dart Board Predictions for 2014: From The Ashes Comes A New Set Of Arrows

It’s Friday and it’s late. I successfully avoided Black Friday and took the brunt of Thanksgiving yesterday. I took a day off yesterday and am now finally recovered enough to spit out my finger pickin’s flakes of college football destiny. Thanksgiving was a day for family and this weekend it’s been a family of rivalries. Heck I’m watching the Civil War at the moment (that’s Oregon vs Oregon State). We get more rivalries tomorrow and it’s time to give thanks and give picks to see who comes out on top. Continue reading Pick It And Stick It: It’s For The Birds
I can’t ever remember having this many contests going on for a Thursday night like this that meant so much. So now we have it. We get Baylor taking on Oklahoma and then Oregon taking on Stanford. What a meaty plate. It’s good thing we’re getting a day’s rest on Friday before another serving Saturday. That plate won’t be light either, with Kansas State cow cooking and some SEC sausage to gnaw. Why am I so hungy? I should be out on the unofficial start of the college football weekend. Continue reading Pick It And Stick It: The Unofficial Start Of The Weekend
I got an extra hour of sleep last night and boy did I need it. The action from yesterday’s college football games was just too much. Watch me talk about Kansas State, Iowa State, Farmageddon, Kansas, Texas, TCU, West Virginia, Gary Patterson, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Missouri, Tennessee, Oregon, Alabama, Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, Baylor, and Oklahoma. Continue reading Purple Yeti Roar 93: Fall Back

Watch me talk about that and Oklahoma State, Iowa State, Farmageddon, Texas Tech, Kliff Kingsbury, Oklahoma, Baylor, Kansas, Big 12, Texas, TCU, South Carolina, Missouri, SEC East, Tremaine Thompson, and Tyeler Lockett. Continue reading Purple Yeti Roar 92: A New Hope
Yes it’s that time of year when the leaves start to turn and when, in Austin, the temperature actually falls below 50 degrees at night. Yup, time to round up the slippers, warm up the pumpkin spice whatever, pop on your favorite pullover, and watch some college football all crispy and fresh air like. And my, what a week to watch, too. Kansas State is back, we’ve got some proving grounds to cover for Texas Tech, and a whole bevy of top 25 match ups.
