We’re going to Dirk’s this week and I have to say I’m a little curious. The Northland is vacant of bars I’m not too familiar with so this trip will make it the first charted barspot up north. Krizzou tells me it was a blast when she would watch basketball games there. She’s looking at a return visit and I’m looking to really for a return to style after last week’s barspot. If anything we hope to see some good football and cheap beer.

Notes: Wow what a weak week of football. I guess we can deem this the calm before the storm next weekend. There’s only one game pitting two top 25 teams whereas next we have at least four. That’s alright, however. The upset special light flashes in Lawrence this weekend because if Iowa can do it, so can Kanas. The ‘Cocks try to do the same thing at Florida, but Tebow will make it tough. Kansas State looks to take a step in the bowl eligible direction by upsetting, that’s right upsetting, Nebraska at home. The other games are just not interesting. Let’s hope Dirk’s rocks.
