It’s all over folks.  The pageantry, the glory, the excitement, and yes the picks.  The title game proved there are many ways to tell the story of a game and we also found out that there are many ways to tell the story of the Bowl Pick It and Stick It.  In the case of the latter, it was actually pretty boring.  But hey, it gives us something more to share with each other when we celebrate the spectacle that is college football.  So with that in mind, let’s go over the very last pick it update of the season:

The final week’s performance was fairly consistent for what happened throughout the year.  Everyone got the South Florida and Texas Tech pick, but they all missed the TCU pick.  Hey it was a heck of a game between the mid-cons.  Congrats to Picky McPikertons for getting the Iowa pick correct and congrats to I Miss Manhattan on the Ole Miss pick.   Every other pick was even.  Alot of people hung it up on Texas but they did not come through.  It was still an entertaining game, however.

The big winner for the Bowl Pick It and Stick It series is I Miss Manhattan.  He did it by picking the big points on the earlier bowl games.  He jumped out to a big lead and never looked back.  Great picks like the one mentioned above helped keep his status at the top.  We owe him a beer.  Thanks to everyone for participating in the Bowl Pick It and Stick It and we hope to see everyone back next year.  Heck, we hope we see more people playing next year.  Until then, go pick your nose.
