Last night’s BCS Championship Game will almost hit classic status.  Auburn beat Oregon on a last second field goal.  It wasn’t the offense that made the noise but the defense.  The only really exciting play offensively was Auburn’s Michael Dyer crazy run on attempted tackle that ended up a flip.  I watched that from my blocky streamed Palm Pre last night.  Sprint TV saved the day for me as I have no cable in the house and a snow stormed kept me from heading out for the game.  My predictions were just as blocky so let’s see the final standings for the Bowl Pick It and Stick It:

Flippe held on to the end to take this year’s title with KU Sucks nipping at his heel.  KSU IS Bowl Bound (or me) tanked late as his Big Ten hate didn’t work again in the last week.  I get to share third place with KSU – Cuse rubber match.  Everyone else kinda fell down by the wayside.  This was a decent pick it bowl season.  I liked how it was a change of pace from the major pickings from the regular season.  Next year, I’ll probably do the same, as the regular season is way more interesting than bowl season.

As for the offseason, look for the Crib Sheet to continue.  I’m gonna take a break until the end of the month to figure out if I want to keep doing the Mascot Mondays.  Hey, I’m running out.  I may do that or introduce something else.  Please let me know what you think and thanks for reading!
