It’s the first road trip of the year for KCCGD crew and we’re getting ready today for the fantastic Oklahoma and Kansas match up in Lawrence. Typically people leave first thing in the morning and head back after the game. It’s nice for us because the game is at 2:30, but even the 11:00 am games require the big morning road trip. Usually that means packing up the night before and going over the football watching checklist. Food, booze, drinks, gear, and radios all need to be packed up and ready to rock. No real huge contests this week, besides the Mountain West match up of TCU and BYU. The big spread games see Texas Tech taking on a thoroughly embarrassed Texas A&M. USC looks to keep the momentum going against Oregon State, who beat them last year and put them out of BCS contention. Ohio State looks to be interesting again as they are poised to actually score more than 16 points this week against Minnesota. Some of the closer games show us the Iowa at Michigan State game, the Penn State at Michigan game, and the Miami at Clemson game. This is the kind of week where big games are gone but a handful of upsets are lurking.
