And all through the house, pumpkin pie was baking and I was aroused (with hunger). Yup, it’s that time of year again. This year, I’m planning on laying back and actually watching some competitive football. For once it will be both for the NFL and college football. So there’s been a feast of news leading up to turkey day and I wrapped it up in a big ole slice of Crib Sheet. It’s kinda like fish and chips, but with college football news and less of stink. Okay so alot of stuff happened over the last week regarding the Penn State Jerry Sandusky situation. And when I say alot of stuff, I mean alot. Basically, that school is screwed and it will take forever to rebuild. I’m sure due process will play out and what not, but it’s passed the point of no longer needing to be covered here. So let’s cheer up a bit. I’m going to a live college football game Saturday! I’m already getting stoked because I have some buds coming into town to watch it with me. Happy Independence Day to everyone here from the KCCGD blog. Even though it says Kansas City, I’m down here in Austin for good but it doesn’t matter because it’s all American baby. More on that change here in a couple of months. In the meantime, I was going through the mascots that I’ve yet to look at from this year’s Phil Steele’s Top 50 list, but since today is a very special day we are going to forgo that and head straight into a patriotic mascot. What I pulled out of my stars and striped hat was the Virginia Cavalier and CavMan.
