Welcome back to another week fo the Purple Yeti Roar. I’m so completely dazed by the sports media this week that I had to take some extra sips of my bold beverage. You see, I was excited to hear about college football but what I got was a double knockout punch of Penn State and Olympic coverage. I’m fully recovered and ready to talk about that as well as the Big 12, Joe Paterno, Twitter, Silas Redd, USC, LSU, and Rob Bolden.
It’s getting chilly down here in Austin in the middle of July. Wah, you say? Yes, but not that kind of chill. It’s the kind that’s blowing over college football and it’s coming from Happy Valley.
