It’s an easy method to take advantage of. Yesterday in my Dart Picks for the year, I explained that I was too busy/lazy to get anything together. That helped me avoid the blowout out by (shudders) Kenny Football and Texas A&M over South Carolina. I’m already up on the year! Let’s see what that cache will garnish me here for the rest of the kickoff weekend. Continue reading Pick It and Stick It 2014 Week 01: I Saved Faced By Waiting Until Today
Hey guess what? I’m back! No Purple Yeti Roar, no previews (yet), and not much fanfare. Let’s be real here, I’m distracted by the the Kansas City Royals actually being in a pennant race. But also I’m tired of the vlogging business. Plus the picks and the feedings felt a bit tired. But I’m back regardless with some tasty predictions. Continue reading Dart Board Predictions for 2014: From The Ashes Comes A New Set Of Arrows
It’s Friday and it’s late. I successfully avoided Black Friday and took the brunt of Thanksgiving yesterday. I took a day off yesterday and am now finally recovered enough to spit out my finger pickin’s flakes of college football destiny. Thanksgiving was a day for family and this weekend it’s been a family of rivalries. Heck I’m watching the Civil War at the moment (that’s Oregon vs Oregon State). We get more rivalries tomorrow and it’s time to give thanks and give picks to see who comes out on top. Continue reading Pick It And Stick It: It’s For The Birds
It took up until the last remaining weeks of the season but ESPN finally felt it worthy to grace their college football presence in Big 12 country. All it took was a still undefeated Baylor and a one loss Oklahoma State to do it. And boy that will be a shootout. Kapwing! We also have a couple of tasty Top 25 match ups and a HUGE game for Alabama as they take on Chattanooga. Let’s get the show started. Continue reading Pick It And Stick It: ESPN College GameDay In Big 12 Country? Finally!
So it started out last week with Oregon tripping on their tails against Stanford. It’s that time of year again where we’ll start seeing others fall to the wayside. Heck, even smaller teams have felt the brunt of November. Just ask Texas Tech. Who will it be this week? Baylor? Florida State? Alabama? I guess we’ll find out Saturday who will be next. Continue reading Pick It And Stick It: A November To Remember
I can’t ever remember having this many contests going on for a Thursday night like this that meant so much. So now we have it. We get Baylor taking on Oklahoma and then Oregon taking on Stanford. What a meaty plate. It’s good thing we’re getting a day’s rest on Friday before another serving Saturday. That plate won’t be light either, with Kansas State cow cooking and some SEC sausage to gnaw. Why am I so hungy? I should be out on the unofficial start of the college football weekend. Continue reading Pick It And Stick It: The Unofficial Start Of The Weekend
Last week Kansas State bounced back, as I correctly predicted, and now it’s time for them to keep sawing that wood. There’s plenty of other teams out there with saws that have plenty of 2×4’s to tackle. We’ll tackle what I think they will do this weekend rightcheer. You know, I have a saw myself for the picks. It’s time I get back on the track. Now where’s that wood.

Yes it’s that time of year when the leaves start to turn and when, in Austin, the temperature actually falls below 50 degrees at night. Yup, time to round up the slippers, warm up the pumpkin spice whatever, pop on your favorite pullover, and watch some college football all crispy and fresh air like. And my, what a week to watch, too. Kansas State is back, we’ve got some proving grounds to cover for Texas Tech, and a whole bevy of top 25 match ups. Continue reading Pick It and Stick It: Crispy Flakes Of Leaves
Whoa man I am so glad Kansas State doesn’t play football this week. I’m recovering from Austin City Limits Music Festival last week and I’m just ready for some good football and nothing on the line for yours truly. Peering at the schedule it looks like it’s a great non committal weekend for me. Some tasty top 25 match ups and enough Big 12 action to fill up the whole day Saturday. Continue reading Pick It And Stick It: Pouncing On Picks Like A Tiger
Yup, I’ll be at weekend two for this year’s Austin City Limits so I will miss out on watching some games. It does not, however, stop me from picking and sticking it. And my what a lovely set of picks this week. We have some meaty Top 25 match ups as well as some good ole rivalry action right here in the Big 12. Will I somehow recover from my awful pics so far? More importantly, will I recover from this weekend? Continue reading Pick It and Stick It: Austin City Pick Its
Whew my picks last week stunk. It almost stuck as much as my pick for Kansas State over Texas. Yes, it was for the spread and yes, they didn’t make it. So how am I going to recover this week? Fortunately Kansas State is off so I don’t have to worry about them. There are some Top 25 matchups that could smooth the blow and get me back on the road to recovery. There’s also a nice little non conference matchup that will be exciting as well. Continue reading Pick It And Stick It: Getting Kinda Flakey Here
Last week wasn’t too hot for me but at least I had the Game of the Century of the Week called. In fact, there were so many great games last week, I almost didn’t mind that I did pretty dang poorly in the picks. Well, I hope this week I hit hard on my picks because the slate of games looks pretty dang dry. Let’s see what we got. Continue reading Pick It and Stick It: Coming Up Dry
It’s a little late but I’m back for some predictions and nose flickings by the way of Pick It and Stick It. It’s been a roller coaster year for my team, Kansas State, but we also have some peaks and valleys for others. I’ll predict just what will happen going into the weekends with no accountability attached to it. Yes, I’ll talk about this week’s Game of the Century as well. Continue reading Pick It and Stick It: Dangling Game of the Century
See what I did there? You thought one thing, but it really means something else. You see, I’m talking about the match up between the #2 Kansas State Wildcats and the new Big 12 member TCU Horned Frogs. Get it? I bet you do! Wakka Wakka! At any rate, the Pick It and Stick It is back this weekend and it’s time to break down another week of the ever more dramatic college football season. Let’s hit get to this. Continue reading Pick It And Stick It: A Horny Situation
People are saying that it’s all down hill from here. For Kansas State that is. They put a whuppin’ on West Virginia and now everyone else on schedule will be easy walkings. Okay so the same people who are saying that were talking up that same West Virginia. I’m not falling for it. Most Kansas State fans won’t either. It’s a new week of college football and it just keeps getting tougher and tougher. Continue reading Pick It And Stick It: Rolling Down The HIll
